Overview
Purple is a women-to-women massage app focused on helping women feel comfortable when booking wellness services.
A lot of existing platforms don’t fully address safety or transparency, which can make the experience feel uncertain. I wanted to create something that feels more clear and reassuring, where users know what to expect from the start.
The goal was to design a booking experience that feels simple and easy to move through, without second guessing.

Research & Insights
I spoke with women about how they currently book massage services and what makes them feel comfortable or not.
One thing came up a lot. Trust isn’t there at the beginning. Many users feel unsure about who they’re booking with and what the experience will actually be like.
Strategy
Instead of adding more features, I focused on making things feel clearer.
I kept coming back to three things: transparency, control, and keeping the flow easy to follow.
Concept Development
I explored ways to make key moments feel more comfortable, especially when choosing a therapist and going through the booking steps.
The goal was to remove that feeling of uncertainty and make everything feel more natural and straightforward.

Outcome
The final design focuses on creating a more straightforward and easy-to-follow booking experience, especially for first-time users.
In early testing, users responded positively to the clearer flow and said they felt more confident moving forward with a booking.
The prototype centers on clarity and trust without adding unnecessary complexity.
