Overview
The Art of Tequila is an editorial design project that explores the history and cultural significance of tequila in Mexico through a curated visual narrative.
Rooted in tradition and regional identity, tequila represents centuries of craftsmanship originating in Jalisco, Mexico. This project translates that heritage into a modern editorial experience.
I designed the book as a cohesive storytelling system, focusing on layout, typography, and image composition to guide the reader through the narrative. All written content was sourced and properly credited within the publication.

Process
The design draws inspiration from tequila’s origins, using earthy tones, strong typographic hierarchy, and generous white space to create clarity and balance.
Large-scale imagery immerses the reader, while structured layouts and consistent spacing establish a clear and intuitive reading flow.
I focused on creating a system that feels both refined and grounded, allowing the content to remain the focal point.

Outcome
The final result is a refined editorial piece that brings tequila’s heritage and craftsmanship to life through a cohesive visual narrative.
This project demonstrates my ability to translate complex cultural content into a clear, engaging experience through layout, typography, and art direction.
