Overview
The Art of Tequila is an editorial design project that explores the history and cultural significance of tequila in Mexico through a visual narrative.
Tequila is deeply connected to tradition and regional identity, with roots in Jalisco, Mexico. This project brings that heritage into a more modern editorial format.
I designed the book as a cohesive system, focusing on layout, typography, and image composition to guide the reader through the story. All written content was sourced and credited within the publication.

Process
The design draws inspiration from tequila’s origins, using earthy tones, strong typography, and generous white space to create a sense of balance and clarity.
Large-scale imagery helps bring the story to life, while structured layouts and consistent spacing make the content easy to follow.
I focused on creating a system that feels refined but still grounded, allowing the content to stay front and center.

Outcome
The final piece is a refined editorial book that brings tequila’s history and craftsmanship to life through a cohesive visual narrative.
It reflects my ability to translate complex cultural content into a clear and engaging reading experience through layout, typography, and art direction.
